Home Divided

Home Divided references the arbitrary divisions we make separating people by walls, because of fear, hate and prejudice. In the natural world, immigrants find their place in the ecosystem, temporarily disrupting the balance, but eventually creating a new natural order.

Curated by German curator Ute Ritschel, created in collaboration with Henry Drewal. Steel, willow, hemlock and maple. Wall was 125 feet long, 7 feet tall, nest was 12 feet in diameter and 4 feet tall.
