CarbonEra Café

Artists Brenda Baker & Beth Persche collaborated to create the CarbonEra Café to spark casual climate conversations in the great outdoors. The intimate outdoor Italian restaurant setting, whimsical play-on-words and delectable menu topics seduced patrons into talking about climate change and its impacts with others. With Starters, Main Dishes, Desserts, and Today’s Special (CarbonEra Pasta, made with kernza!), visitors had plenty of topics to choose from like Food Waste Focaccia to Combating Climate Change Caprese, to Alternative Energy Antipasto.
